Highway pegs on SDGT

Post by GaryCulb » Sun Jan 07, 2018 4:57 pm

For me traveling long distances Sport Touring my legs get tired with a single foot position. Enjoy highway pegs so, installed them on my 2017 KTM SDGT.

Components: SW-Motech Crash Bars- come in orange & black (http://shop.sw-motech.com/cgi-bin/cosmo ... =287356656 ), MFW Footpegs & mounts for Crash Bars- come in silver & black ( https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/mfw-footpegs, https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/mfw ... -crashbars ). To protect your SW-Motech Crash Bars consider the bar wrap from the SW-MOTECH Hawk Light Clamp Set For Tubular Crash Bars ( https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/sw- ... crash-bars ).

Certainly not for everyone.

Best,

Doc :D :D

DaveNZ,

Now that is an Old School Camera!!

Like your Radar Detector Set Up.

Never been able to get any of those new camera set ups (Go-Pro, Garmin Verb, etc.) to not crash my Mac.

Best,

Doc :D :D

I have a little camera for my bike (wife brought it for a christmas pres) its called MUVI. great little camera, it has a water proof case for surfing videos, i videoed about 15-20 different track day sessions (6-8 laps) and have had no trouble playing them on my old lap top and my ex TV, both changed now, i also now have a MAC laptop, so i wonder if they will play on it. I'm sure they will.

Sure, several vendors make highway pegs that will work. Started with MFW ( https://advdepot.com/products/mfw-highway-peg-kit-2 ) & now use the Universal Adventure (https://www.advdesigns.com/highwaypegs. ... FsQAvD_BwE 0. Best,

Like you set up. I think my bike is probably gonna look a lot like yours after a while. Great info.
