Micro Blinkers

Post by andyandtherman » Wed Jan 09, 2019 12:57 am

I picked up the R and G Tidy Tail thinking it came with the blinkers... it doesn't. Even for $188... Any good small rear blinkers around to compliment the clean tail look?????? I'd prefer regular, but LED is fine too.

I haven't taken the time to figure out how to post pictures here, but here is a video of my bike. The rear blinkers are self adhesive LED. $9 on ebay.

That looks great!! Do you remember the brand and/or where you got them from on E Bay? I like how you mounted the plate too. Was that a kit or did you rig it? Great looking bike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did have to buy some resistors. After some mild research I settled on the SW Motech pieces. The license plate frame has an LED light in it to keep it legal. The plate mount is just a piece of steel bought from Home Depot and cut to fit into the plate frame with a tap bent to the desired angle, and spray painted. Bolt (2 bolts) it to the plastic tail cover (Not expensive if you want to replace if you change your mind), and done. The toughest part was getting the wiring done clean and tidy. Not hard, just had to take my time. The added bonus is that plate keeps road spray off of the shock. I also suggest putting a clear film over the taillight for protection. I also did this to the TFT and headlught.

Right on, glad you like it. I am pleased. Getting it tuned next. After that I may tinker with suspension. If I hit pay dirt? Wheels. 😎
