seen a couple of good videos on line where they are on a par with some of the more established brands. Just wondered if anyone had any experience of them. As you say, the tread pattern certainly looks interesting.

I've not used the Diamonds but I have used the Supermaxx Sports (riding the gixer to, at and from Silverstone), and Touring (on a Duke II). Both were fine, though longevity seemed to be the biggest issue. But at 2/3 of the price of a set of Michelins they were worth the money for the job. And I wasn't expecting much life from the Sports ones, considering how and where I was using them.
I can't honestly believe the diamond pattern is anything more than a gimmick or the big boys would have done something similar already. I'd still go with PR3s every time.

Not eard any good reports about Maxins cheap and cheerfull.

Got some on my bike and think they're great. They warm up quickly, feel great and look good.
