Ktm 1090 using the front brake feels like a wrapped disc on the front . Releasing and catching. Bike has done 1200 miles bought new in July. Anyone have any ideas ?

Would that warranty cover this ?

Cheers

G'day Kim....

I know the feeling...... no idea why everyone thinks "Brembo" = best when their rotors warp so quickly, but it is a warranty item as mine went floppy at about 7,000kms and KTM dealership verified the runout and two new disc's arrived shortly after.

My suspicion is that 320mm brake rotors are just too big to stay straight - my CBR1100xx has 130,000kms on original brake disc's - they are worn but still straight (I think they are 290/300mm), anyway, go see your nearest KTM and get it checked out/replaced.

Cheers
Dave
