Hi All
A question for the UK members. Is this law enforced in the UK ?
https://www.gov.uk/motorcycle-helmet-law
"All helmets worn on UK roads must meet one of the following:
British Standard BS 6658:1985 and carry the BSI Kitemark
UNECE Regulation 22.05
a European Economic Area member standard offering at least the same safety and protection as BS 6658:1985, and carry a mark equivalent to the BSI Kitemark"
Do compliance stickers have to be visible on the outside of the lid ?
Thanks

Re: UK Helmet compliance question
The only place i have had helmet checks done in the UK was at a track where they did want to see one of the stickers you mention.(been riding in the UK for 30 years)
If you are riding on the road wearing a helmet that 'looks' like it is a genuine / real modern crash helmet then you will be fine / would be very unlucky to get challenged for it.
Just don't expect to be able to wear an old german war helmet / viking horned helmet / an iron man helmet / 1950's pisspot helmet and not get a pull from the police who may well then starting looking for certification.
