Qlan wrote:Ah, perfect! So i just use the two connecting points on the frame then? Thought it needed a connection at the footpegs aswell, since theres a "Hook" there on the sidebags to connect to the footpegs (or footpeg-holder - i dont know the name :) ). Thanks, its better to ask someone who knows, rather than trying it and them falling off in the middle of the road!
Image looking at the pic of my bike, zero connection to the footpegs.

Thanks! Just mounted them to my bike, feels ok - even though im a bit skeptical about the not having a connection a bit lower as this being a 2017 SDR and the brackets are a bit different! But hopefully it will work just fine! Thanks for the help :)

In that case, wrong forum section. Hence why my pic shows 990 mounts Image

They mount in 3 points:
2 plastic loops built into the top edge of the pannier(s) slide onto two 'fingers' on the mounting bracket over the heat shield. Then, the 3rd (where the spring loaded latch/thingie goes) clicks into a receiver at the bottom of the black support bracket. The pegs don't come into play at all, as others have said.

Guys I’ve just bought the two sets of pins on eBay for less than £15, take a look at the pictures and do a search on eBay for index plunger pins. ImageImage
