Mts 1200 mirrors on smt pics added

Post by pk1 » Mon Oct 12, 2015 8:39 pm

Had a run on a Ducati 1200mts got back on my smt a realised how crap the mirrors were everything blurred by the vibes.
On the Multistrada mirrors it's crystal clear.
Has anybody fitted these to an smt? Seen some for sale but they seem to have a square end don't know if they would look right on the round post!
Anybody
Cheers

I think they look better than the stock mirrors the angles suit the bike in my opinion but I'm still getting blur in the 4-5 k rev range .
I've fitted some PDs clamp rubbers to try and resolve which helps in the high Rpms and low anybody any ideas on how to tune this out?
I already have PDs clamps on the bars and bar end weights with anti vibration bars.
Cheers

Those are nice looking mirrors indeed! They look abit wide though, but don't think that would be an issue.

As much as I hate to be a necromancer of a two year old thread,

I replaced the stockers with mirrors from the 1190 ADV.

Quite an upgrade.
