Sorry to revive an old thread, worth a shot though...

I have picked up a brand new set of KTM Auxiliary lights for my 990 SMT.

I have installed them as per the limited instructions provided, but for some reason, I can't get the aux lights to work in conjunction with high beam. (Setting 2 on RHS switch- Aux light come on with high beam)

I have installed the plug'n'play wiring harness, on which there is a black connector that does not seem to have a mate? I have tried bridging this connector but it makes no difference.

Can anyone offer any help with this?

Sounds like a typical KTM instruction kit. had similar problems wiring LED indicators into my 690 & 990. Fitting the centre stand to my 990 the instructions totally negated the side stands existence entirely!

On a related note as this kit is rarer than unicorns i've been browsing ebay and seen these LED lights, seem well made at a reasonable price?

The Vision X stuff is very good. I don't have their lights but I fitted the replacement LED H11 lamps to my 1190 Adv... I wonder when KTM will fit decent lights to expensive machines
Cheers,

Dave

Not a cynic... I just wish it was better:-(

The SMT is Black - the profile drop down doesn't let me put that in!
