You've seen mine Andy. Same Gimlet off SWB. Its a medium. They do make a large but they told me it really is large and would look massive.
Been a bit wet today but I'll take some more pics to refresh your memory.

Here's the website:
http://palmerproducts.co.uk/

The pic shows a screen in its most vertical position - which I found very turbulent. I've got mine on the highest setting but tilted back so it follows the angle of the nose fairing and headlight.

I've also got the Palmer screen and mounting kit, second one I've had, first was on my Buell. Great bits of kit, definitely smooths airflow out better than anything else I've tried.

I think I have the large, will see if I can dig a photo out and stick it up tomorrow.

We should shouldn't we Andy. I need to get mine MOT'd, as it's run out, and I'm in the middle of a major refurb on the house - rear extension being turned into a kitchen, so have little spare time at the moment for bikes - especially as I've already had 3 holidays this year

Anyway, here's a picture of mine with the screen, it is a large, and it does look big, but the way I have it set for touring means I can see over the top of it comfortably, and then I can set it lower for hacking round the twisties.

But if you're over this way, or planning to be, let me know and I'll put the kettle on at least, if I can't manage to sneak out for a few hours.

Thanks for the photos.

You need to get your priorities right Clive.....dry warm weather (on the odd occasion we get that....thunder storm currently in full swing here!) = riding not house renovations! ;-P lol

Only just done a few small tentative rides myself last couple of weeks, first this year, after surgery on my shoulder......not that I would have had that much opportunity even had I been fit.....that stage of life with elderly parents with health issues - Mum passed away 3 weeks back

Sorry to hear about your mum Andy. I know what you mean about that stage of life. My Father died four years ago. You know its coming at some point but its still an existential shock when it happens.

Hope the shoulder's on the mend. Ptolemy's SWB Exmoor ride out which we went on last October is on again for next Sunday if you're up to it. I'll be KTM-ing it for sure this year. Not sure which one but the more KTMs the merrier. Be nice to see you out again if you can manage it.

Thanks Jim.

Just posted on SWB (thanks for the headsup), not fit enough for the mileage (and pace :D) of that run just yet :-(
Have asked for a rerun later in the year!
May have an SMT substitute to stand in for me.....new owner who's Exeter based I've been 'chatting' to - I'll pass on the link to him.

It's a fair trip to UK, but Madstad makes a variety of windscreens here in USA. For the SMT as well. I have not tried one. I'm comfortable with the stock screen. Just food for thought. Ride on!

Just a thought Andy, when we're both on an SWB run some time I'll bring the SMT and if you like we can swap screens and you can give the Palmer a proper try out on your bike. Its only four screws. See how you get on with it.
