Kevxtx on a 890 Duke

Post by kevxtx » Tue Jun 23, 2020 9:44 am

Picked up my 890 Duke R a few weeks back, what a great ride so far.

Mods done I know the list will grow
Pulled 6265g of weight off it so far with no decat.
Wings titanium end can & link pipe
SSB lithium iron Battery
Replace 90% of the bolts & nuts on the bike with Titanium
OEM mirrors removed with bar weight & bar end mirrors fitted.
Fitted 15T front sprocket felt it was over geared for my riding.
Will be looking at one of my 02 controller mods to control the closed loop, then onto the tuning.

Looks awesome Kev, any thoughts on how it compares to your sorted 990 SMT in terms of power delivery?

Also, with titanium bolts, are you not worried about seizing them?

Been running Ti bolts for over 10 years on my bikes, I always apply copper paste to the threads & never had any problems with them.

Busy working on the 9890 02 sensor controllers, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0_QFY_Pmlg

Already made up my own scanner to read & clear fault codes & a adjustable fuel mod. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhikqGypxjA
