Hi,
bought my SMT -11 last month and since the MoT was just around the corner I asked to have the large dB killers installed. Passed the MoT today with flying colours, so now is a good time to try stuff.
I find the fuelling iffy when filtering, it misses a stroke now and then and you get that "ooomph" feeling in your stomach from deceleration. I love the sound with the large dB killers and doesn't really want it louder, but if the Acra map is better suited for the small dB killers i'll give it a try.
Ideally i'd like to filter at lower revs, but below 4000 the transmission sounds like crushing ice in a blender just like a 650 Funduro -96 I had 15 years ago, so zero evolution in that respect. (Now coming from a shaft drive BMW I may be on the sensitive side...).
So,
1) is it worth trying the smaller dB killers
2) any other tips on how to improve low speed running
BTW, I just love the bike and usually drive around problems rather than tinker, but I happen to filter A LOT.

27 views and no comment! Reminds me of debates in the old Soviet legislative assembly.
Anyways, attention is always appreciated.
Looking through old posts, the stuff i mention seems to come with the package, and I'm fully capable of riding around these traits with a huge smile just loving the bike.
Transmission rattle is solved though, problem disappeared with new earbuds.
Carry on.

Re: Wings with Acra map
Run the system open now. Gives more room when filtering AND runs better with small throttle openings.

Re: Wings with Acra map
Probably a better map would give you better results on low rpm. You may try map #9
