FMF Q4 question

Post by portero72 » Fri Jan 10, 2014 3:02 pm

Sorry if this has been discussed already, I searched and could not find a definitive answer.

I came across a seemingly smoking deal on some FMF cans built for the ADV 990-part number
045442. Does anyone know if these will fit or if they require minimal modification to work?
I am not opposed to modifying brackets to get them to line up.

Thanks, gents.

These are the FMF stainless - part no. 60005099300
They are listed as fitting SM, SMR Adv etc, but the SMT is not listed according to the powerparts catalogue.
Current Bikes: SM-T, Sprint 1050GT, VTR250, EXC250(400 piston)

Hello,

I was just reading your previous post. I have FMF Q4 exhaust on my newly purchases 2013 SMT. They sound great! and look very nice. Ideally though I'd like to take off the heat shield and luggage rack brackets but am not quite sure how to go about this? ARe you able to offer any advice on how to do this or where I can find out??
Kind Regards
