Finally I had enough and contacted FMF directly to be informed they are totally out of stock and cannot confirm if they will even manufacture them again, though they will not say they are actually discontinued either. So if you do like I did and pay up front without realising what the situation is you may be in for a long wait. There are a lot of specials on the FMF, I saw as low as $639 US but whats the point in advertising a product you cant get?
Today I finally gave up and purchased oval Wings with the endcap from the local Australian dealer. They cost more but I dont mind, as long as its under $1000 Im not too bothered. I was put of Leo Vince since they dont have a specific SMT model that I could find. No way I would fork out $2500 for akras. Cant wait to finally hear the engine the way its supposed to be, a big loud V twin
Where did you get your wings locally?

I'm having mine fitted currently, along with the sas block offs.
Anybody know the best place to order those resistors?
You can get the resistors at your local Radio Shack.

THanks! but what do I ask for?
what do they look like? Do they screw in with a particular size?
DO you have to mod them? What do they fill or replace exactly.
Most of the comments I've went back and read, tend to expect a certain level of knowledge. :?
sorry I know so little about them and really not completely sure even about what requires them, lol.
I get sort of lost with all the acronyms at times,...epc, o2 sensors, resistors, sas, etc...

Have you fitted the block off plates?
Have you used tune ecu to remap?

If so then why not just turn SAS off in TuneECU?
You seem to be avoiding the simplest option of removing a tick in the SAI TuneECU box

Yes, guess it seems that way from the perspective of someone who can work on them, but
mine is at the shop with a mech friend with no tuneECU cable.
I bought the wings exhausts and sas block offs to take to him, but
he says he can't turn sas off with the ktm program like tune ecu can, but
he can load the map of my choice.

All the mention of resistors on here had me thinking I could just look on
here how to do that and pick some up.
Didn't realize that was not covered till I started digging and Kev made the above post. ;)

If it is just a light that will be on and performance is not ruined....I don't have to wait.

Can you get the OBDII cable at radio shack?

Guess I should buy it from CJ designs?

Cut the two wires off the valve side leaving a few cm of wiring to the connector, then solder the resistor across the two wires & plug the two connectors back together, now you have a $1.00 SAS resistor mod just like the MH mod above. :D

There's a good pictorial on how to use the resistors for the SAI delete mod and the charcoal canister mod on AdvRider here: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthre ... 372&page=6

As others have said, if you use TuneECU you can disable SAI on the map and don't need a resistor. The canister delete can only be done with a resistor though.

Turns out my KtM guy can adjust the SAS off & map now that he has the new
KTM software update... so no new cable needed now.
Maybe riding again tomorrow!

Great sound and comes on strong right from 2500 or so.
Seems stronger thru mid on up near the top.
Wow.

Thanks! I'm liking it too and thinking of making it more permanent,
but right now it's Plasti Dip, spray on plastic paint.
When tired of it, you can just easily peel it off in one big sheet.
