Loads of effort to get a bit more noise from some hideously heavy exhausts. Best off getting rid altogether

Mate of mine had his on aftermarket exhausts for years and didn't change the map. Only changed his map recently because I replaced his airbox and did all the other mods.

It's not hard to buy the Lonelec cable from eBay and use the free TuneECU software to upload a new map though.

I seriously implore you to go ride an SMT that's had the airbox replaced. I love this bike now. There are cheap ways of doing the mod (I did it for a couple of hundred all in).

Hi "drewsninja"

Don´t do the same "mistake" I did. I bought a quite cheap pair of "unknown" silencers from "another European country". They look great and sounds VERY nice - but the back side of it is the sound/noise level! It was TOO MUCH for my ears and I had to take them off... :/

So now I´m back to original ones. Let´s see if I will try Wings or similar, that are well known to work well and also that sound´s good.

definitely benefits.
I lost approx. 10 lbs plus be getting rid of that large tin box
global warming schmobal warming
taking off that box is not gonna change the world
also bike will sound incredibly better especially with a nice can like an Austin racing can or akro
looks better
better throttle response
