I look forward to your review. I’m the original OP of this thread. I’ve been in the middle of a number of other projects....just had Sargent make me a seat which I hope to do a report on soon, just got in a new set of wheels for my car (long story), lots of new tires for my motorcycles for a variety of reasons, including that I’m about to leave on a 4,200 mile trip on my 1600 BMW......soooooo, when I get back the windscreen is still on my list!
It's set to arrive tomorrow night. I'll likely have it on by saturday. I'll take some pics too.

I got really hot and humid so I didn't put it on as I was enjoying the wind blast. I also wanted to make sure I really needed it before I took it out of the box in case I wanted to return it. Well, it was like 60 degrees this morning and I was freezing on the highway in my summer mesh jacket, so I think I definitely need it as mornings are much cooler during the fall. Despite the fact I'll be wearing a heavier jacket during those months I will likely feel more cold than I did this morning so I will need better wind protection for sure.

I contacted the company & they sent replacement hardware that fit. The shield set at it's lowest position gives you a bit more protection than the stock shield at highest position .The quality of the shield is quite good. I wonder why the even use the standoff spacers to mount at this is the company that makes the stock shield (note makers mark next to dot cert on stock shield) so this looks like a good choice .but for high speed work it does appear to slightly change handling (i.e. I will use for trips but not day to day

Thanks for the report. I’m still interested in getting one, but it may be my winter shield due to the added height, so no hurry at this point.

Got their Sports Touring (N20806) to just try it ( http://www.nationalcycle.com/n20806.html ). Best wind screen for the KTM SDGT I found to date (tried Cal Sci, MadStad & Puig). For the highway put on the MRA Touring visor ( https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/mra ... iler-blade ). Fantastic combination for long distance riding even in the rain. Much more stable/ less motion-vibration than the Madstad or Puig. Highly Recommend!!

PS: Have a Tall Cal Sci with no whole if anyone is interested- $100 plus shipping.

Best,

Doc :D :D
