Radiator Guards

Post by BillyRay123 » Sat Jan 20, 2018 7:46 am

Morning All,

Are they worth the money?

Any good designs worth looking at?

Tempted by the evotech one, looks a smart product and great quality.

Regards
Billy

They are a nice little insurance policy, but the radiator on the 1290 is high enough that it's far less likely to catch a stone off the tire. But if you do, I highly recommend Evotech. They are the gold standard for everything they make.

Always the first item i buy for every new bike, i removed my rad guard off my ex 1290R and trimed it to fit the GT, Evotech all the way.

Radator Protectors can be essential. Too many times have we had to assit a Connie owner with a busted radiator & no radiator protector. AGREE- EVOTECH for the KTM SDGT!!

Best,

Doc :) :)

Yes.....they are worth their weight in gold.......it's the stone tossed up by the other vehicle that will strand you if the radiator is holed........ though, interestingly, all the guards don't cover the tank ends.....must have a look, maybe the led panels provide enough protection.......

Still, Rad Guard is a Must Do... ;)
