Thanks Mick, may be I will see you over there in the UK. Heading to Germany in two weeks, but going north into Norway this visit. Perhaps into UK later this year.

Ha! Thanks Dave, but In this part of Texas, summer is when most folks STOP riding. I missed the best part of the riding year earlier, but hopefully the good weather will return this fall.

The SD is running great now, but the love bugs are coming. I ran into some last night. That is two weeks at least of living hell, where it is totally unadvisable to ride. Here's a picture of my Wing from an afternoon ride, last year about this time:

Arrre, forgot your from Texas, yea i chat with a few guys on the Aprilia (AF1) forum, and your summer heat is a killer. early morning weekend rides i guess for you, here we can ride all year round, winter is cold, but less tourists.

The real riders still ride all summer in Houston, but I admit I know many who don't. I do 350 mile Saturday rides all year around, and every Sunday I get up early and do 150 miles and am home by 10:00 usually.

Jim, I would definitely not put you in the category of MOST riders. In fact, you belong to a very exclusive group of riders who ride all year long. You know that's a certain kind of insanity, right? It is always a pleasure to ride with you.

Thanks Joe. That is quite a compliment from someone with your riding resume.
