Cyclops LED headlight conversion

Post by MarkLH69 » Fri Oct 20, 2017 1:12 pm

Hi

I am not too impressed with the Cyclops 7000 LED headlight, anyone else running one ?

It's very bright, but the light goes everywhere and I am sure it's dazzling everyone.
This kit was claimed to be specific for the GT .. but there doesn't seem to be a good adjustment that suits high beam and low beam.
I initially set it up so low was ok then high was just a bright spot 2m in front of the bike.
So I moved the adjuster knob as high as it will go to get high beam ok, but low beam now lights up street signs ... even overhead ones !

No one has actually flashed me yet though, so maybe its not as bad as it looks .. but it doesn't seem very good.

There website states that for the GT it's only advantage is being brighter, and because of the shape of the stock deflector it does not project any more light.
But I think safety is much better with the Cyclops than without it. The stock bulb is pitiful.
