Rear footrests

Post by ruffneck247 » Tue Jul 18, 2017 10:05 pm

My gf is having a problem with her feet slipping off the get rear footrests. Does anyone know if there are any rubber topped footrests that might fit or any ideas on how to combat this problem?

Thanks

Change her boots, well at least have a look at the sole, more often than not, this can contribute to her loosing grip, rubber foot rest inserts are usually for vibration reduction, but rubber on rubber sole can give good grip. (PS, i double my wife often, she has no problem with grip on the pegs, she just has trouble getting on the bike when the panniers are fitted, Remmedy-Multistrada 2up)
2016 1290GT-remus link and muffler, 2010 Black 1200 Multistrada full Termi system with mapping, 2005 SMR 640, full Titanium system, Mikuni flatside racing carb, 2 sets of wheels, 18 litre tank, and a nice soft seat.

On our last bike my wifes ride was drastically improved by fitting a triboseat (about £15.00 with postage) its a non slip cover that gives a solid platform so pillions can relax and not tense their legs and feet, just ordered one for the GT
