Picked up bike after nearly 3 months in the shop

Post by RDKLL » Fri Jul 14, 2017 1:27 pm

Picked it up last Saturday with doctor's blessing (permitted to ride the bike home) 15 miles and it was bordering on glorious. I saw no outstanding defects on the repair. That might be a stretch because it was 115deg and 40% humidity but man it was awesome. Then the dealer called me to say he found an insurance check that I needed to sign. So I hopped on the Duke and headed up there so I could sign the check and let him look at the sun faded stitching on the PowerParts seats. He took pictures and will look into warrantying thru KTM...so 45 miles my first unoffical day back on the bike.
I have a doctor appt on Tue 7/18 in the am and will be meeting a buddy for lunch and a hot afternoon ride and then back to 2 wheeled commuting on 7/19

Great news. That was quite a saga but I'm glad they've done a good job on your bike and you still have plenty of "warm weather" riding time left :D
