Modified Dyno Results & Accessories

Post by Aeor » Fri Sep 02, 2016 8:02 am

Alright folks,

So The bike's pretty much done, except the tinted windshield, panniers (both on their way), and some extra crash protection from R&G.

So the list of mods so far for power include:
  • Rottweiler Air Intake (debris plate not installed)
  • Rottweiler Velocity Stacks 80mm x 2
  • Rottweiler SAS removal kit Stage 3
  • PCV Fuel map
  • PCV Ignition Module
  • Fuel tank foam removed
  • Remus link pipe with stock exhaust valve welded on.
  • Akropovic 1290 slip-on with baffle installed.
  • Tuned by RB Racing.
Others mods include:
  • SW-Motech Crash Cage
  • SW-Motech AluRack
  • SW-Motech Rackpack and extension
  • KTM Ergo heated seat
  • TechSpec tank grips
  • ROX Handlebar Risers
  • KTM 1190 Handguards
  • Rigid Industries 2 x D2 Driving Lights
  • R&G tail Tidy
  • GIVI Tank Bag
  • CTEK Comfort Indicator
And here are the Dyno Results!

Some of the things to note about this build:
  • The link pipe needs the exhaust valve welded on to stop the MTC failure.
  • The debris plate doesnt fit from Rottweiler, due to the different shape of the engine.
  • The right hand side dongle won't fit either, and required me to dremel down the notches on the plug. But once they were filed down it fit fine and worked.
And here's some quick photos! Sorry I didn't get more photos of it apart, but It was done at around 3am, trying to get it done so I could get to bed for work the next day :S

Great results. Did the PVC go in the same as the 1290r? How does it feel from the "saddle"?

Bike looks great. Can I ask where you got your top case and how you mounted it?

Hi

Just a short comment. Your engine mods are pretty close to mine, my old bike was SDR 1290 v1.0 Two weeks ago I bought a new v2.0. Enyway, you had pretty flat torq curve in your bike, moro or less same as mine. We clearly see what ignition module do.
