C-TEK Battery Charger

Post by Aussie Dave » Thu Oct 18, 2018 12:36 am

Hi all,

Wondering how everybody charges their batteries when in storage/not riding regularly :?:

I've been disconnecting my earth terminal and clipping my C-TEK smart charger on just like it says to do in the KTM manual (as recommended for the KTM charger). This is getting tedious, and I'm sorely tempted to use the C-Tek's accessory plug-in harness so all I need to do is errr, plug the charger in and connect the power

The C-TEK seems to be a very gentle/slow charger so I'm hoping you snow bound owners can report no electronics issues with leaving the -ve terminal connected while smart charging your GT's.......then I won't have to reset the time etc after every charge (or pull the seat off and fiddle with the -ve terminal  ).

Cheers from down under ;)

So you guys have wired in the adapter harness and just plug the C-tek in without lifting the seat etc :?
