Preload failure

Post by Flingit » Mon Aug 13, 2018 1:59 pm

So I decided to take my GT for a run yesterday. As I tried to start it, the battery cried enough! I dont use the bike enough, so the bike has been standing. I jumped my bike from my van, and it started immediately. I did my suspension settings, while off the bike and then proceeded on my way. After about 15 min, I got a Preloader Adjuster Fault warning. I have had this before, and it was reset by the Dealer.
My question is, Is it possible that the low battery caused this, or is there a fault with the rear shock?

If it goes away after the bike has rested, then more than likely the low battery caused it, I've noticed if i start my bike and it doesn't wind over and fire immediately, a fault flash on, but disappears soon as the bike fires up, got to keep these battery on a trickle charger, theres some big pots with high compression to wind over. I've noticed I'm getting a fault code come and go, on my front brake, happened about 3-4 times now.
