I have been on the list for the parts for almost a month. Had my 15K service scheduled and it got pushed back because they dont have the parts yet.
I would do a little more homework. When my GT was delivered to the dealer about six weeks ago the dealer discovered the recall had to be done before they could deliver the bike to me. My dealer ordered the part from KTM and had it in two days.

The part is the same whether it’s for a Ducati or any other bike with that master cylinder. You might call around. The part can’t be very expensive if you buy it yourself.

My dealer has been waiting for the brake recall parts for my SDGT for at least 5 weeks already...at least, that's what he claims. Took them 3+ months to get the fuel line recall part. Meanwhile I ride every chance I get, and hope my brakes continue to work.

Because my selling dealer has been unable to obtain parts needed for brake recall repair, I called a different dealer in a different city today, to inquire whether he could do my recall. He said he would be most happy to do the work, but unfortunately he would fare no better in getting the needed parts. He said the brake recall parts were on national back order in the USA, and he had no idea when the parts might become available.

Sooo, looks like a long spring (and summer, fall?) season of riding with an iffy front brake.

Does lemon law apply to bikes? I'm just about ready to dump this dang thing!

Wooohooo!
Just got a call from my dealer: my recall parts are in. Scheduled to get recalls work (brake, fuel line, side stand spur) done next week. He said to allow 3 hours for all, in spite of "book".

Me too....... brake part and fuel pump are waiting for me (was booked in for 19 March) but am unable to do any riding for a few weeks (months?) so it can wait till I'm up for it or my cousin the bike mechanic takes it for a spin (now that Yamaha HQ Brisbane has decided he is too 'old' for their preference.......even though he has cleared the backlog of "unsolvable" issues with warranty returns or factory repair b4 sale issues.....go figure  ).

Took my bike in this morning for brake, fuel line, and side stand spur recalls. I also requested they fix the distance to empty to read in miles instead of km.

Seven hours later, I return to the shop, and it's still not done. Tech is on phone to KTM, trying to solve "a fault error".

Another hour later, they pronounce it "fixed'. It's closing time, so they thank me for my patience, give me the bike key, and I head home. Couple of blocks later, I notice my speedo says "0" when I've gotta be doing at least 35. Then I notice that my odo reads exactly the same as when I dropped it off. No speedo, and no odo! Then I see my distance to empty is zero.
Then I notice my heated grips don't heat...and my quickshifter is gone!

Cruise control works, tho. Hmmmm!

Finally got home (40 mile ride), and reprogrammed my grips and QS, so all's well there. Still puzzled about odo and speedo. Be kinda nice to ride the bike for a couple of years, and not put any miles on it!

But I guess I'll take it back tomorrow. Wonder what they'll tear up next?

Too much tech!!!!!!

Can they do that?

Yup...all fixed now. Also now have ability to add tire psi to "favorites" screen.
I like it!

I'm taking my 2017 KTM Super Duke GT in this Friday, May 18th for a Brembo brake recall and, I believe, a fuel pump replacement, which has also been recalled.

I know nothing of a fuel pump recall??? Tony did not mention it. Maybe only on the grey ones? Lol

My dealer said it was a fuel line (not pump) recall. But mine's a 2016, so maybe that's the difference.
