Cheers DaveW, Me the wife and the dog have had 2 nights of fresh snapper, and gave half to my son, he came fishing with me, and he caught the 3.8kg snapper, he and his flat mates will be gorging themselves on it tonight. After the 3 big days of Southerlies, we have a dead flat ocean, and the bigger snapper are here early. I did get a ride in on the GT on Sat morning, a trip up to Awakino tunnel then back to Urenui to get the boat ready.

Hey Aussie Dave, I've never had a days fishing where i haven't caught a good feed, worst day was mid winter where we only caught 4 Gurnard and 1 Kahwai, and about 20 damn useless spikey sand sharks.`This time of the year the big snapper come in to breed.
