Nice work Doc,
Even the lion is shitting his pants. (A new king on the block) :D

Can i ask ....There seems to be two navigation screens on the bike, On the pics it looks as though you have changed them around from the LHS to the centre?

cheers

DaveW,

There is just one Navigation system: BMW Nav VI with TourTech Locking Mount (https://touratech-usa.com/Store/Tourate ... -GPS-Mount ) attached with a TechMount mount to the left handle bar. The Center is the KTM GPS Mount that I attached an iBracket ( https://www.ktm-parts.com/61412992044.h ... QIQAvD_BwE , https://www.motosport.com/ktm-powerpart ... hone-mount ). The iBracket fits a iPhone 5S or iPod (5th Generation). I can Bluetooth music from either device to the Nav VI. Much easier than trying to load music from iTunes to a Nav VI SD Card. Power for iBracket device derived from OEM plug on left side. Best,

Doc :) :)

Agreed!! If i wasn't traveling on the KTM SDGT for 3 to 5 days at a time Sports Touring would not have a top box. Fortunately, KTM's top box is very easy to remove/ replace. Best,

Doc ;) ;)

What windscreen is that Doc? How U have your bike set up looks very close to where I am going with mine, very nicely done! I don't see the engine guards listed on the KTM web site, what and where are they to be found?
Are those drivinglights the small PIAAS?

Pete Werner,

The windscreens shown are for driving on the highway. They are the Puig Touring Windscreen with MRA X-Creen Touring variable windscreen spoiler blade/ Bolt On ( https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/mra ... iler-blade , https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/mra ... ersion-kit ). The MRA X-Creen Touring variable windscreen spoiler blade/ Bolt On is more reliable than the Puig product & can easily be removed/ replaced.

The Crash Bars are SW-Motech Crash Bars ( http://shop.sw-motech.com/cgi-bin/cosmo ... =286617963 ). They are only designed for protection from a drop. I put them on so, I could have some highway pegs: MFW Footpegs & mounts for Crash Bars ( https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/mfw-footpegs, https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/mfw ... -crashbars ). It can take us 3 to 5 hrs to get to our location in the Mountains & it is great to be able to rest your feet in another place. Only hawl my ride when I absolutely have to do it.

The running lights on the front are Clearwater Darla Lights ( https://www.clearwaterlights.com/produc ... super-duke ). Great company & very reliable product.

Best,

Doc :) :)
