Not so new one from Laguna Beach

Post by Heeno » Fri Jan 06, 2017 8:12 am

Got mine in July. Waiting for new bags, big gap when closed. Other than that...awesome.Simply put, it is the best touring / sport bike out there. Having owned a BMW RT, Concours 14 and Ninja 1000, the KTM is in a league of it's own. The GT is zen-like comfortable, mean as razor wire and handles any twist with unconditional confidence. Sean McDonald from Cycle World has no clue what he's talking about.

We are going on a 2-up test ride of the Super Duke GT tomorrow. I have been reading everything I can and seem to get the most out of the review videos, but Sean's article was the most negative. With all of the positives, I would classify his review as an outlier. I am so looking forward to this test ride...like a little kid...
I am coming over from the cruiser world and I think it is one of the better handling cruisers, but after riding twisties in the Mesa/Phoenix...need a better scalpel...and the scalpel would be the Super Duke GT...dont care what color, I will let her pick.
