Hi,

Hello from The Hague, Holland. I bought a Super Duke 1290 GT last week and it will arrive this Saturday.
Previously, I've owned a Honda VFR1200 with all the goodies. This will be my first 'European' bike.
The information on this forums (pros and cons) about the GT was very usefull.
Looking forward to share ideas, mods and the rest.
Cheers!

Don't worry about it, this is my best bike ever.
Next Wednesday, the first maintenance is already scheduled.
Full throttle ahead....

Just had a short weekend bike trip to Sauerland, Germany.
In the Netherlands, we have great tarmac but no mountains. So, the German mountains and roads are only 300 km's away.
I went to test drive the bike together with two friends on VFR1200's that has all the extra goodies (ECUflash, suspension, shocks, etc.) KTM (out-of-the-box) is really fast and stable in all kinds of cornering. What a bike!
