Yeah I brought some touratech risers there 25mm and made a massive difference, I also use the hole nearest to the tank and if you spin the stock rises around you gain another 20mm bringing the bars closer . (This info is in the manual)

Have bar riser on order and put a K&N air filter in and removed SAS with rottwieller delete kit
It's hard getting that tank on and off and also the plastic panels, shit these engineers live in a different world
Must be some tricks to it that i haven't found yet

Ok.... here's my Grand Tourer. Taken on a 3day weekend trip into Blue's Territory, but what a sleek and comfortable machine, and plenty of go when the devil inside gets horny.... ;)

I bought it in early Feb 2017.....it is the 2017 model with LED rear indicators (only diff as far as I know) and I've knocked out 6000kms in 3.5 months... :D Stock standard motor, oem Angel's (I run them @ 34f 36r though).. ;)

Extras are Shad 34 top case (Motech rack), front extender fender, rear home made hugger extension, radiator mesh protection, Acerbis Dual Road handguards (tks to forum posts....very pleased with them), self applied orange reflective stripe to side cases, side stand foot plate (recyced re-engineered Givi plate)......oh, Givi 3D quick release 12Ltr tank bag. There, all done, have since ridden a 600km day and no issues with comfort - though I was down from Street damping & 1+lgge, to, 'comfort + solo spring' in the last hour or so.....due to our worn out roads... err, some bits were added after this photo was taken, and I'm still trying to buy the 39t & 40t rear sprockets (in steel at a sensible price) so I can fine tune the gearing to Aussie 'conditions'...

I say = Great job KTM :!:

Pssst.......it's got one of these on it now.......it improves the air flow, but the cost is high for what you get and a nice Puig tinted touring screen might be better value........but this'll do me for now.... ;)

4 days on the GT, on some amazing top of the North island roads, with a bunch of bikes (mainly Italian IMOC ride) Rear M7RR toast after 3300Ks.spent the last 400Ks in Street mode milking the last few Ks out of the rear. Great riding weather, except for this morning, leaving Auckland at 730 (4 degrees) going over the Bombay hills to thick fog and 0 degrees, and frost on the verges, and the fog freezing on my visor :( . but warming up to a balmy 8 degrees by 10oc, then 13 by the time i reached my home in the good ole Naki. First pic, waiting for the ferry, 2nd, our digs for the night in Russel, over looking the bay, 3rd, meeting point for the start, and 33 bikes, 30 Italian, 2 KTM, 1 BMW. Check out the weather, the gods were on our side, 4 sunny still cool days, and dry roads. :)
