New owner

Hi guys, I'm Paul from nottingham.

I'll be collecting my 17 plate gt tomorrow. Pretty much new work panniers.
I'm not stranger to big bikes but I have to say I'm excited.
Im also lucky enough to own a gen 3 rr too.

I actually won a Ducati diaval 3 months ago and have sold I it for the GT.
I prefer performance so I'm hoping to be pleased.
I'll be asking lots of questions so I'm sure this forum will be useful

Wellcome Cr333 . Not much traffic here lately but guys pop it regularly. The Diavel goes very well, but the GT is a far better bike, fast touring, and some sporting ability. Good luck with your GT and enjoy it, they are pretty awesome bikes.

Welcome! Pretty cool that you won the Diavel. Did you ride it? What are your thoughts on it?

Hey Mick..... I thought Nottingham was where Robin Hood used to hang out....... isn't it just down the road from you?

Hope you were watching Aus weather gods throw their best UK weather at the Moto GP on Sunday! Sure was a ripper race!

Oh, and welcome Paul...... the forum site has been a bit hard to log on to in recent months but it seems to be back to normal now so a few more members might come back on line.

:)

PS nearly fergott.... the 17 model will be much nicer once you get the ECU updated to the 19 model's software....... fixes the weak rebound damping rates, has faster suspension response and some engine map tweaks...... mines a much better handling 17GT now with the 19software....... the upgrade was free software but the dealer was allowed to charge for time to download and install (only $50Au) - worth every cent :D
