New guy from NY

Post by Rock » Mon May 14, 2018 10:30 pm

Hi all,
I've been on the other KTM forum for a bit and found this forum and decided to give a shout out.
Picked up my GT on Saturday and put about 100 miles on it so far. Was a little wet this morning but tires had 65 miles on them from the weekend (scrubbed enough) so I decided to ride in to work today and test the GT out on the crazy commute I have.
It's everything I want in a bike. Lane split comfortably when I needed to do so, dealt with stop and go very well for a bike so powerful, and then was a blast when I finally got to open her up. Subject to break-in limitations of course.
After riding sterile BMWs for the past couple of years, I really appreciate the character and feel of this bike.

Go Orange!

Yep, thats a Puig. I use a MRA touring Visor when traveling on the highway. Somtimes takes us half a day to get where we will be riding. Best,
