Radiator guard 1190 ADV/S

Post by Swoop » Fri Feb 19, 2016 1:58 am

I'm a new owner of a 2015 1190 ADV/S (yes, actual Orange!!). I'm looking for considerations from owners who have installed a radiator guard. My moto will be ridden primarily on roads; not much muddy, rocky terrain.
What is your preferred brand (R&G, RAD Guard, KTM brand, etc.)
Any good input of practical advice is appreciated. Thanks -Swoop

KTM oem guard, nice and cheap but needs a little modding to fit S model details here -

I would go with the OEM and did on my SA. It isn't bling but if it gets through that guard it is a pretty serious impact that the bling flat mesh wouldn't have stopped.

Are you referring to the KTM Adventure Aluminum Radiator Protection, 60435940044...
or the plastic version that JJay51 posted?
