Ergo Seat
Well, after much contemplating, I decided to buy ergo seats for my 1190 Adventure. I know what the majority of comments are about this subject and yes, KTM should have put more comfortable seats on a £14k bike in the first place but my word, ergo seats! Wow, what a difference. 2 hrs in the saddle and nothing, no thought went to my buttocks at all, not even a millisecond of ooo! I love my ergo seats. I didn't go for the heated option, £250 bought me the pair from Jim Aim and the old ones are in the box in the loft.
If you think of your own arse while riding the 1190 Adventure, save up and buy them. Very much worth the sheckles!

Re: Ergo Seat
Hi NIck, the one I've ordered is of the non-heated variety like yours and it will cost me 170€.I think there is already enough heat around this bike - plus I've got heated grips - so I didn't bother with the heated aspect of the seat.nick280 wrote:Hello Dave, mine aren't heated hence why they are a good price

Re: Ergo Seat
I've just been for a little bimble with the Ergo seat set on high and to be honest it was like sitting in a high armchair.
I could ride like that all day.

Re: Ergo Seat
Has the ergo seat got the same option as high and low setting. I heard comments that it is quite a it higher than the standard seat. Also is it possible to just get the rider seat and keep using the standard pillar seat together

Re: RE: Re: Ergo Seat
Yes same height adjustable settings. I didn't notice the ergo seat being any higher than the standard seat in the same position and yes, can be used with standard pillion seat.rexe wrote:Has the ergo seat got the same option as high and low setting. Re: Ergo Seat
That's a cool mod, the plate rack. Saves scuffing the pillion seat. [THUMBS UP SIGN]
