Great idea, good result on my S: odometer: -1-2 kmh vs GPS.
With a thin powder coating (0.1mm) after sanding the air gap is ok (0.5mm). Thanks a lot.

Cheers,

message sent. I'll take one set for my KTM1190r with 19/17 wheel set (I have had the computer changed to reflext a 19" front wheel but it is still 10% out.. theory is that this abs ring corrector will fix my 19" wheel accuracy.. and the 19" change to the computer "should" put my 21" wheel closer to correct as the computer thinks it is a 19" wheel... is that right??

Just a reminder:

Note important:
Once the rings have been fitted the air gap must be checked between the ring & the ABS sensor, by turning the wheel 360 degrees making sure the ABS sensor is not touching the rings, I prefer the rings to be primed & pained. It is your responsibility to check the air gap.

Sorry to hear that Kev.
There never seems to be a shortage of dickheads out there which are more than happy to just rip people off. Inevitable I guess, very sad, people with no scruples.
Many of us could have done the same (copied your idea), but we didn't because it's not cool, it was your idea and you did the hard yards.
Keep up the good work Kev it really is appreciated and always has been.

Hi, noob question. Is it hard to change this myself? Do I need to do anything to the rings before installing? I am interested in this fix :)

My bike is the 1190 adv standard with 19"/17" wheels

If you can remove the wheels your self then fitting the rings will be no problem, they need to be painted or powder coated.

Kev, just sent you a PM to order one. Thanks for making these.
I just registered to the sight after finding it on ADV. Glad I did as a new 1190R owner. Bought mine last Thurs. Coming from 83000miles on a GS Adv. Wow is this bike different and FUN!

Can't believe KTM produced such a product to have this much error in a speedo - that's a recall item - one would think....but typical, some really smart Motohead finds a fix and makes these great things to make our bikes better, in spite of the manufacturer. Thanks Kev!
That's why Rip-off-tech is in business and a whole bunch of other companies peddling farkles. I want to know who's the idiot designer who made the tiny footpegs? Really? has he ever ridden off road before?...
Same goes for the stock handle bar setting - it's so low.
It's amazing to me all the stuff you need to add - about $2500-3000 in add-ons. Skid plate, airbox, bar risers, foot pegs, panniers, side stand footprint thing (REALLY? you build a fantastic off road bike and put a tiny footprint...really?) and the list goes on.... it's fun to personalize, but there's so many stupid manufacturer things wrong....and we buy them anyway.
