New to Adventures

Post by hp955 » Mon Sep 05, 2016 9:15 pm

Just bought a 990 from a mate.

My existing bike is along distance mile muncher but not best suited to the local roads and country lanes that now form my commute.

Still getting used to the on -off switch that pretends to be a throttle when cold and the surging when trying to maintain a steady throttle reminds me of an old Triumph Daytona that I used to own.

It's a learning curve but there is definitely a grin factor that goes with it. :P

You need to get it remapped and the on off switch and surging will be improved a lot.

Change the throttle tube in the twist grip, and you may find its easier.
