KTM PP Soft Bags Fading

I read about these bags fading before I bought them. I really like the look of the orange and black on th bike and I don't want to lose it. Especially since they are way over priced! So I bought some Rit fabric dye. Tangerine orange and plain black. I mixed it with water and tested it on a paper towel until it was diluted properly. Then with a small soft brush I went over the zippers with the orange. It came out perfect! It looks much richer than when I bought them.

That's awesome, way to go.

As far as fading goes, how much time would estimate your bags have spent in direct sunlight?

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, been enjoying the weather.

I bought mine new, they were not faded from use. I thought the orange was weak out of the box. The dying solution fixed that so I posted it because it will also restore ones that have faded from sun exposure.
