Post by paul65 » Fri Feb 16, 2018 7:20 pm

what would be the pros /cons of using the arrow mid pipe which has the cat in ??
would the SDR with this make the same power as one using a straight through mid pipe and the same mods
air intake and custom pcv map etc etc ....

The cat is an obstruction. You will have more potential for power without it. I am going to be doing a Rotweiler intake, decat mid pipe with the stock can. I am short on funds, and hope it will keep the dbs down. My buddy is going to build a map for me. If someone does the same mods the map should work on their bike.

I think it depends if the bike is 14-16 or later? either way I passed on the mini arrow cat and got a mid pipe with a couple bends to it for back pressure for both my 15 and 16 model. Both bikes were considerably louder than stock with the cat removed, but still quieter than the modded harleys around here.
Enjoy
