And the morning conversation 2 houses down after the baby wakes up at 630 and the wife wakes up the husband and says our a$$hole neighbor just woke up the baby again with that stupid loud bike. . Yeah honey, but it's not brappy loud. -death stare.

I'm joking but you just know that conversation had happened somewhere.
😂 I have no doubts I just became "that guy." I thought seriously about pushing it to the front of the neighborhood. It's about a quarter mile but decided to just fire it up and idle to the corner and stay off the throttle best I could. I'm sure I got a few comments. The litmus test for me was my wife was still in bed and I knew if I had a text from her saying "WTF did you do to your motorcycle" I knew I was switching back. I got no angry text so I'm proceeding with caution, lol.

As decibels increase they get more intense. 60 to 80 is less of a change than 100 to 110. Kind of a problem for me. I work late, and get home no earlier then 12:30am and as late as 5am. I need to consider this for any upgrades. I like the under belly look though.

The video does it no justice really. It sounds fantastic but it is crazy ass loud. Probably 90-95db cruising around normal speeds. Crack the throttle and you are above 110db. 119 was the max one trial and 125 was max another trial. That's military jet take off power. I am so loving the form factor and look so much I may try to tolerate the volume.

I don’t notice any change in power. If anything it’s a little weaker like 3k ish range but I had it in my head the flapper had something to do with back pressure so I’m not sure it’s not in my head. I actually think higher up it’s stronger. Seems to lighten the front end more then I recall in spirited riding in sport mode before.

Now that you have had the exhaust for a bit do you have any further opinion of the exhaust? I see they no longer offer it but they offer a new version that has a lever for changing exhaust modes. I am sometimes a little skeptical to be a guinea pig for upcoming companies.

Loud as you know what. Still like it’s sound and don’t feel it degraded performance.

I ordered the "Stealth" version now in black, but the bike is in winter-storage, so wont see it in 4 months.. Should i also buy a new Airfilter for this setup, or is it enough with the original airfilter and Akra-map? :)

Is a remap needed if upgrading to the c type or the stealth exhaust?

Get more air as in a k&n drop in filter or Rottweiler intake? And a remap?

Hi
I have the same exhaust on my bike. But have not been able to ride cause of wintertime. Have you encauntaered any issues with this exhaust? Have you changed the OEM mapping for akra map or custom???

With this exhaust I've came across a loss in low end torque, but so is the case with many exhaust mods. I did get the akra map added because I was throwing a code because the servo was disconnected. But all in all throttle response and low rpm chatter has smoothed out considerably. Just waiting to go to the dyno to smoothe everything out and hopefully gain back some torque for those wheelies
Fyi I have the stealth type exhaust

It turns out it was just too loud for my daily driver type duties. Too bad because I loveeee the look. I’m going to try Arrow Racetech titanium slip on and arrow de cat pipe before returning to stock cat and Akra slip on.

I didn’t have the ECU flashed at all and never increased flow on the intake side so my experience may be less then ideal. If it was a noticeable power gain and smoothed our throttle response I would have been slower to remove it. I figured with all the baffle plates the backflow would be significant enough to keep lower end torque without flapper.
