Yup my pillion pegs are long gone and they are weighty too.

They certainly are. I'm kind of torn between pulling them off as this will make it hard to give lifts to wandering strangers, but will probably reduce the odds of me getting stabbed in the neck by a psychopath. :?

Just ordered one of these pipes myself
Mine will be run without baffle and decatted also
Options were AR,SC or Racefit....something to add a bit more "character" 8-)
If I love it(I'm sure I will) then I may sell my Akrapovic slippy

And for your information.....this pipe will sound more or less the same as any of the "same length" pipes I named above
So that would be SC Project CRT,Racefit Growlers/Black editions,or AR GP1R....the underseat AR might have a different tone due to the length of the pipe
Note:For the price it was a no brainer for me!!!

I'm gonna take baffle out and run it with the cat on. Enough noise and no faffing with remap!

Pic of mine with my arrow linky....haven't had the chance to start it up yet due to shizzy weather....I'm sure it'll be worth the wait:)
Word of note:I was a bit sceptical about this exhaust pre-order as I've never owned one before and its relatively cheap....gotta say that it's easily as well built as any AR pipe I've owned....

That's good to hear.

BTW I love your 'original prototype' wheels. Are they a custom paint job? Also, which tail tidy/fender eliminator is that? I have the KTM OEM shorty and it doesn't look as good as that.

As for your shizzy weather, we had a boringly wet summer but it is freaking perfect now. I'll be playing truant from work 2 days this week to go riding... make up for missed weekends.

Yes the wheels were painted by OOey Custom in England
The guy is Stuart Harris. He did an amazing job....I got them painted locally in Ireland originally but that job paled in comparison to the job Stuart did.I can't talk highly enough about the guy!!Amazing work!!
The tail tidy is an R&G.Im selling it if you're interested....
We're coming into the spring here so the riding season is upon us...YESSSS!!:)

DukeNukem, I am eagerly waiting for your impressions/video of your exhaust setup. I'm pretty set on the Arrow decat midpipe. I haven't quite made up my mind what to run with it yet though.
2015 SDR--> PP Race Dongle, heated grips, tank grip pads, brake res cap, SW Motech handguards, Q3s for now...
Previous rides: '09 ZX6R, '06 GSXR 750, '00 YZF 600R

After a little spin with this set up I can say that it's definately noticeably louder than the arrow decat and Akrapovic slip on set up.I love the look of it though and I think I'll stick with it.Z
After my RSV4 with Racefit pipe I said I'd never go LOUD again....that'll be the kid in me :D

Is it a nice deep tone or raspy?

Of course it's raspier than the longer Akrapovic. But it's not annoying!!I feel I might need ear plugs whereas I didn't with the Akra!!It is beastly though and I love the look of it with my arrow decat....I think it looks better with the fatter mid piece of the arrow rather than a straight pipe!!

Loud, freakin' LOUD! I haven't had a chance to ride with it yet, only idling in the garage(which makes it louder). I stuck the (db) killer in, just made it less deep and added a metal raspy sound.

I have the Remus link pipe & titanium werks.

It's top notch quality! Well worth more than the low price they sell for.

I don't know how long is going to last though, whose idea was it to take off the muffler to remove the rear tire? I might be getting a competition works Shorty can in the future

Just about to buy a pipewerx titanium. I already have the rear pegs off but can you buy bolts to plug the holes in the frame where pegs went?
