loose rear brake caliper

Squeaky back brake? Hard to control at 30mph/40kph?

loose rear brake caliper

hello boys and girls,

as the title says, rear brake caliper on my smt seems loose and i dont think this is OK as i also noticed the disc is developing uneven surface.

is this ok? what do i need to tighten?

Nothing, it's just a floating caliper isn't it?

Loose like that on a floating caliper is good, not loose means seized, not good.

ok.. with floating brake i would expect the disc to rattle, not the caliper :shock:

Two types. Floating caliper and floating disc.

Ktm use both so the caliper floats on the rear but the front disc floats and the calipers are fixed.
