I meant to post there was a puddle of coolant about 3-4 oz worth on the floor and there doesn't appear to be any gasket leaks. The oil in the sight glass looks normal and the little plastic coolant reservoir is dry. Any suggestions to why the bike decided to release several oz's after a ride? I'll add some water to the reservoir and go for a little ride to monitor the oil temp but if anyone else has bikes do this and know why please share.
Enjoy

I’ve never overheated my bike but......I overfilled it once and it puked a few oz’s on the floor(left side, up front) after a ride..........I didn’t put the cap on properly/tightly and it did it again..........and then another time I pinched the overflow tube between the frame and the cover for the reservoir and it did it again.
Basically it’s been trial and error for me. Lol. I’m pretty careful when I check it now and i’ve never had another problem

I had a shitty radiator cap that allowed the bike to spit coolant when the engine was hot. Brought it back to the dealer twice and they didn't fix it. After reading about the cap on one of these forums, I told them what to fix, and it hasn't been a problem for over a year now.

I'm keeping an eye on it. so far it hasn't repeated and running temp is normal.

I only experienced the puking when the engine was very hot, oil temp close 195F, if I remember correctly. Like being stuck in stop and go traffic in high ambient temp. It would spit out the drain hose on the left side of the radiator (by your left knee).
