Sintered front pads

Post by dukebadboy » Mon Oct 24, 2016 12:17 am

Are the OEM front pads organic?

They grab very soft comparing to what I've got used to - sintered EBC.

Does anyone run EBC double HH on SDR?

Any other recommendations apart from EBC?

(I'm on non-wave rotor)

I use SBS the ones down from there full race pad. They work well with good feel, be carfull using a full race pad on the street they need a lot of heat to work well.

I use EBC on the SMT and they're fine. Indistinguishable from Brembo.
I've just ordered some sintered Carbone Lorraine for the SDR. I use them on my Ducati and they're excellent. Just as strong as the Brembos but less grabby.

I've also installed the CL Braking pads, like 'em a lot.

I use EBC double HH on my Diavel and they grab much better than OEM Brembo once they heat up.

The grab feel of OEM on SDR is the same as OEM on Diavel, they are both Brembo, hence I thought they are organic (Diavel's one are).

Thanks for suggestion!

OEM Brembo's are HH

I'm using EBC HH and find them better than OEM, with more initial bite when cold.
