Thanks!
Im thinking map #3, but it makes no mention of stack length. Im assuming its 100/80 because the rotty box does not work with two 100mm stacks.

Map#4 mentions oem cat still in place, and im assuming the cat delete really makes a difference in airflow which in turn affects mapping.

I dont want it to be perfect, just close (enough)

Take your pick. One of them should work. Compliments of the OP, Kevxtx
What am I missing? I go to the link and see the maps available, but I don't see what the mods are for each map?
I have a Motohooligan intake with a Remus decat and stock can with the DB killer removed. Which map would be closest for me?

Thankyou. Have a PV5 and Autotune on its way.
Doing some research. Found a few comments that the Dynojet wide band sensors have a short life. Was suggested to tune, then take them out because they were only good for 500 miles or certain number of hours?
Is this true?

Dynojet answer:

We use a Bosch LSU4.2 for the Autotune. This sensor has an 80,000km life in cars but that is definitely not going to be the same in bikes, especially when running a richer AFR. But you can expect it to last a LONG time. This sensor can not be swapped out with the stock sensor or any other sensor for that matter. You can find this sensor at your local autoparts store if you should ever need to replace it though

A very important note, make sure you only use a map that matches your country/fuel. I didn't pay close attention to that fact and have been running map #9. All the mods matched but I am in the USA using 93 octane fuel.

I had been using that map for the last year and a half. I was at a trackday last fall and they had a Dyno at the track. $50 to see what HP it was putting down. It only put down 145hp and told me my a/f ratio was really low.

I just now uploaded the #15 map and took a quick rip around the block, way way better! Runs smoother and more power!!

So keep that in mind if anyone is looking for a map, pay attention to the small details.

Mine did that at first, I don't think the lap top was connecting at first. I think I had to retrieve the current map before I could load the new one.

Strange. I can get the current map loaded on the pc5 and also send different maps to it. It seems this particular map is corrupt??

Just make sure you are downloading the 1290 PCV version map not the 1190 PCV version map, when I first tuned my 1290 there were no PCV's so I retro fitted a 1190 PCV to the bike & custom built my maps, a few months later Dynojet released a PCV for the 1290.

I have a 2016 KTM 1290 GT. At the end of last season I had install a Motohooligan intake, Remus decat with DB killer removed from stock can and 16 tooth sprocket. It ran pretty sweet with the factory map, although I was worried about running it lean. I waited over winter hoping KTM would come up with a performance map. Still has not happened, so I bought and installed a PCV. I have run 1290r maps 3 and 13 with success. Honestly I can't feel the difference between them, but both run great. No dyno's nearby. My dilemma is that I also bought an at-300 auto tune and I am on the fence whether I should install it or send it back?
Any thoughts?

Is there a way to know what pc5 the map is intended for?

It says the info in the map notes 1290 map 1190 version or 1290 map 1290 version.

Map #15 doesnt say anything about being an 1190 map.

All maps are marked 1190 or 1290, Map#15 loads fine for me on a 1290 PCV base.

Kevtx, If you are doing a PCV on your new bike, I will be interested to see how the map looks. I have a GT that I am puttering with. Around 5000 rpm I have vibration that I see in my mirrors. Cannot help but think that this may have something to do with the exhaust valve activation. As I understand it closes around that RPM (at least in North America) because that is the rpm the EPA measures for sound. I no longer have the valve or cat but wonder if the factory map changes drastically in that area and what we can do to the map to help out?

Strange. Still wont work for me. Could it be that this map was written with an ignition module also installed, and I dont have one?
