Advice on tuning

Post by stephenmark19 » Sat Aug 18, 2018 2:21 am

I own the 2017 SDR. It's a fantastic bike and has ridiculous power as you are all aware. I would very much like to make it even more ridiculous. I live in Virginia Beach and would love your recommendations on where to get this thing tuned, upgraded, stripped and blessed by the very best. Not worried about cost, I just want an absolute KTM guru. I thank you in advance for your time and suggestions :)

I'm interested as well. Though I doubt if there's anyone close that's a KTM street guru based on how far all the dealerships are.

My advice is find a local race shop with a good reputation. They are the passionate ones. They want to see what a bike will do.

If you don't mind traveling for the work, Commonwealth motorcycles in Louisville Ky can do anything your wallet can handle. They're a KTM, Ducati, Aprilia, Triumph and Suzuki dealer. They even have a dyno room there. Call and talk to Chad.

Thanks for the advice friends. Louisville KY is a bit far but for the quality it may very well be worth it!

Sounds like their dyno runs high. A simple flash?
