Painted my BST Rim.

Post by Fry » Mon Jan 22, 2018 4:33 pm

Well, not the rim, just the Flange.

I wanted to take flange off and Powder Coat it, BST recommended against removing it stating it would send rim out of balance.

I used paint from Color Rite. Used their complete system. It does look more like the 2016 SE color, but Its what they offered for the 2017 KTM. Plus I wanted a bit of Sparkle to the part so it works for me. Plus, there isn't a lot of Orange back there on the bike to compare the color differences. I think it looks good. Taping it up was a pain.

When I read the title I thought it was a joke. I like how it came out.
Enjoy

Thanks. It took a big leap of faith for me to do it, but I like the results.
