First time KTM owner, loving 1290SDR so far

Picked up a 2015 with 4K miles on it, about a month ago. Got a pretty sweet deal on it from a guy up in Orange County. Also have an 01 RC51 (3rd RC I’ve owned) and was recently on an 899 panigale in Belgium before moving back to US.

Love the dual nature of the SDR and the comfort for commuting. Mods so far:

Remus decat mid pipe, beyea muffler modified (loud)
TRex full protection kit
Scott’s damper kit from Rottweiler
Removed charcoal filter and plugged lines
Cycleops LED headlamp
Evotech headlight cover
Evotech Rad cover
Evotech engine guard
KTM heated grips
Yoshi tail tidy (from previous owner)
Integrated LED taillight
Chinese side mirrors (R&G style) on modified (trimmed) bar ends (so I could keep stock bar weights)
MRA windscreen
Techspec tank grips

Nice bike, welcome to the forum. The Beast is just as much fun as you can have on the street. and comfortable to boot.
Enjoy

Yup, after riding more aggressive stanced
Sport bikes over the years I’m really enjoying the duality.
