Throttle Body Adjustment

I hope this can help make doing the throttle body adjustment easier for someone else. Had a bitch of a time figuring out how to access the adjustment screw with the tank in place. I already had two different styles of adjustment drivers, both the flex shaft driver and rigid driver with the 90 degree angle on the end. Both proved to be worthless. Ultimately, had to make my own. Basically takes a small t20 driver with a narrow shaft and about 5.5" of shaft length, I couldn't find one anywhere. I ended up turning down a 1/4" driver bit and tig welding it to a small flat head screw driver. Mine is 6.750" from tip to the start of the handle but it needed to be little shorter (5.5"). I removed the rear screw holding the harness protector to the frame so the harness can be moved slightly. Then I had to back the handle through the opening where the fuel tank vent valve sits, and then angle it down behind the wire harness toward the adjuster screw. When doing your adjustments, you kind of have to push the driver into the screw using your right hand while holding the throttle closed with your left pointer finger. Otherwise you just keep pushing the throttle open.

The picture is crap, but you can kind of make out the driver handle up towards the radiator.

If anyone has an easier way, please share it.
