Givi side case mounts

Searched with futility for more info here, does anyone have experience and/or photos of these side racks? Supposedly they also fit the 690 enduro according to that same listing. I can not seem to find real world experiences....anybody here? :?:

Well, I don't know about them fitting the 690, but they fit the SMT real well. I love the quick detach feature. If you google Givi PLR750 you'll find more than you ever wanted to know. You will also find cheaper places to buy them. Here's a couple quick pics. If you need more let me know.

Thanks, it's the attachment points that have piqued my interest.

I'm attempting to differentiate between the SW MotoTech racks: http://www.revzilla.com/assets/0001/053 ... mr0713.pdf

and the Givi side case mounts: http://static.twisted-throttle.net/medi ... plr750.pdf

Both racks seem to use the same attachment points. The forward grab handle bolt and the passenger peg mounting system. Then, each of them seems to use the bottom attachment to their loop a bit differently. I wish there was a live bike to look at and measure, there would be huge bonus points if either/both systems also attached to the 690 enduro. I'd be killing two birds with one stone. I already have panniers that have a puck system set for the Happy Trails, they would be easily modified for either rack although the open loop design of the SW MotoTech is a bit better IMHO. If I could see a close up photo of either system where it attaches to the passenger pegs, that would be ideal. Thanks for the looks and replies.

Here are quickie snapshots of all three of the Givi attachment points. I'll admit I could have done better... Anyway, hope this is helpful.

Oh yea... with the Givis, the triangular latch piece and the buttons are just held on with screws that are easily removed leaving a nice flat "hoop" for mounting cases "puck style".
