Soft side bags used for sale

Post by Hellboi » Fri Feb 20, 2015 4:48 pm

Anybody interested? they are a bit worn and sun bleached, but I used them for when on trail and not worried about looks, but I got new bags and unfortunately I will be selling this bike next week to make room for my new 1988 Africa twin and with the 1190 Adventure in the barn I need space. Make an offer otherwise they will just go with the new owner, just figured I would offer them here first.
And where might a fellow like me find such a glorious spatula?

I've been out shopping around for some soft panniers for my SMT. I'll manufacture brackets for softies as needed, because they don't work that easily with the SMT.. Where are you Hellboy? I'm in Canberra Aus.

I am currently in Japan, but I have US mail access as well so whichever shipping is cheaper I am willing to use. These are the OEM semi rigid bags. the ones on the ground in these photos. Image

I was thinking of hitting the rough spots quickly with a flame to burn off the fuzz of the cloth, sand it or something then apply a spray on truck bed liner to make them look better as well as waterproof em, but as I said, this bike is out the door to make room in the barn.

Robbo, spray em with that plasti-cote rubber spray from Supercheap or Autobarn. I'm putting the shit on everything. Fookin brilliant stuff. Fork legs, sump guard etc...
Will be doing my panniers when they fade off some more.

Yeah, I ended up buying C-Bow Soft Pannier system instead of SMT only bags. That way I can use the bags on my next bike (or other bike) by just buying another c-bow mount. The C-Bow mounts i bought is for SMR, but I've got SMR short heat shields and can mounts etc, so they should fit easily.

If you ain't living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.
