Lockable panniera on OEM attachment points

Post by Brocade » Fri Jun 14, 2013 5:37 am

Folks
Am getting delivery of a new SMT in a week. Very excited. What would be the options for panniers that affix to the OEM attachment points ? Are there any lockable ones ?
Thnx

I have the KTM aluminium ones. They have lockers as extra option

Many thanks. Do those need special racks or do they work with the same racks used for the soft bags ? Thanks

They need extra racks. They are on the powerparts list

I'm in the same boat. I really like the Givi 33L Trekker luggage and was wondering if the mounting could be re-fabricated to slip onto the existing loop. SW-MOTECH has a set of GIVI Sidecarriers for $275 as well as "DIY" Sidecarrier EVO Loops for $75/each.

Let us know what you come up with.

If you get the "aluminium cases", order the handles as well. Like the locks, handles are a separate item.
